Maxperr Energy Hosts Canadian EV Infrastructure Briefing

Toronto, Ontario — January 31

Maxperr Energy successfully hosted its Private EV Infrastructure Briefing in Toronto, bringing together over 70 industry leaders, commercial property stakeholders, fleet operators, and strategic partners for a focused discussion on the future of electric vehicle infrastructure in Canada.

Originally planned as a 50-person closed-door session, attendance exceeded expectations. This is a strong signal of growing confidence in Canada’s EV transition and the urgency surrounding infrastructure readiness.

A Timely Conversation on Canada’s EV Acceleration

As Canada advances toward its federal mandate of 60% zero-emission vehicle sales by 2030 and 100% by 2035, the conversation is rapidly shifting from vehicle adoption to infrastructure capacity.

During the session, Maxperr Energy presented:

  • The current state of public EV charging infrastructure in Canada
  • Market adoption trends and infrastructure gaps
  • Electrical capacity and site readiness challenges
  • A forward-looking three-year deployment roadmap

With recent policy shifts and evolving international EV supply dynamics, the industry is entering a new phase — one where infrastructure planning must move ahead of vehicle demand rather than react to it.

Government and International Participation

The event received strong recognition from municipal leadership. We were honoured to welcome councillors from the City of Markham and the City of Richmond Hill, who shared valuable insights into municipal planning, sustainability priorities, and the role of local governments in supporting EV and clean energy initiatives.

We were also privileged to host an international diplomatic representative from the Caribbean region, reinforcing the global dimension of transportation electrification and the importance of cross-border collaboration in energy transition.

Their participation elevated the discussion beyond commercial deployment toward coordinated public-private alignment.

From Discussion to Deployment

Beyond policy dialogue, the briefing focused on execution.

Maxperr Energy shared its integrated infrastructure approach:

  • Load assessment and electrical feasibility analysis
  • Scalable site design and deployment models
  • Financial modeling for commercial and fleet environments
  • Long-term operation and maintenance strategies

The objective was not simply to present technology, but to foster early alignment among stakeholders positioned to shape the next wave of infrastructure growth.

Looking Ahead

EV adoption in Canada is no longer a question of “if,” but “how fast.”

As supply increases and vehicle costs evolve, charging infrastructure must scale in parallel. Strategic site acquisition, electrical capacity planning, and coordinated investment will define the pace of electrification over the next five years.

Maxperr Energy remains committed to building reliable, scalable EV infrastructure across North America — working closely with property owners, engineering partners, fleets, and public stakeholders.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all attendees who contributed to a thoughtful and forward-looking discussion.

The transition is underway.
Infrastructure readiness will define its success.
